At Aroha Koe, we understand that stress is not a personal choice, albeit a part of our every day lives. When your system is overloaded it leaves you feeling wired, exhausted, or stuck. This is a biological response, and it requires a biological solution.

You aren’t failing—you’re overloaded.
Most people think stress is just something you need to live with, and whilst stress in every day life is inevitable, living with stress couldn't be further from the truth. When life gets too heavy for too long, your body's internal alarm gets stuck in the "on" position and why is this dangerous? Because of the wear and tear it has on you biologically, physiologically and neurologically. You end up feeling "wired but tired," snappy, or just completely drained. At Aroha Koe, we believe the first step to feeling better is realising that your body isn't broken; it’s overwhelmed and we get the results for you that allows you to live beside stress not in stress.

Stress often makes us feel like we have to "escape" to feel better. Our philosophy is different: we focus on helping you find a sense of ease exactly where you are right now. It’s about learning to move through your existing day with a body that feels steady and a mind that feels clear.
Using what is already there.
Your body already knows how to be calm; it has just spent a long time practicing how to be stressed. We don’t give you a long list of new "to-do's." Instead, we look at the small moments already in your day. We use intentional shifts that get results to let go of the feeling of constant stress and return to your bodies natural calm and how to do that ongoing that works for you.
Living beside stress, not inside it.
Life will always have its challenges, but those challenges don't have to live inside your body. We teach you the evidence based tools that are individual to you, that allows you to live beside the stress—not trapped by it—so you can stay present in your life and to the people and moments that truly matter. We are all different and using a cookie cutter approach will not work in the medium and long term, so our programs are individual to your biology, physiology and neurology.
